September 25, 2021 - Jake Knowles tops TST field, secures spot into Ice Bowl
Jake Knowles did a bit of multitasking on Saturday night at Talladega Track. Not only did he get track time in preparation for the upcoming weekend’s Crate Racin’ USA events at the 1/3-mile oval, but he also picked up the feature win.

Additionally, his winning performance aboard his Knowles Race Parts and Bodies / Phillips Properties No. 66 Josh Roberts Trucking/ Gadsden Heating & Cooling / Savage Chassis Late Model also guarantees him a provisional starting spot at the 2022 Ice Bowl.

“We achieved a lot of different goals on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track. Any time you go to the track, you’re hoping to win, but honestly our biggest goal that night was to test some different things for the upcoming weekend there. Everything fell into place nicely though, and we got the win. Also, pretty cool to have a guaranteed provisional for the Ice Bowl now too,” Knowles shared. “A big thank you goes out to all of our sponsors, and now we’re focused on scoring two mores wins this coming weekend.”

Taking part in a test session for an upcoming doubleheader weekend with the Crate Racin’ USA Dirt Late Model Series, Jake Knowles visited Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for the Ice Bowl Qualifier.

With 28 Late Models entered, Jake secured his spot into the main event with a heat race victory. Cruising to his fourth win of the season, Knowles outran Josh Adkins, Kasey Hall, David Kay, and Tanner Collins. His victory also guaranteed him a starting spot in the 2022 Ice Bowl.
