| February 1, 2020 - Top 10 Finish in Winternationals Opener at East Bay |
 Jake Knowles returned to action on Thursday evening at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Florida) for the Newsome Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series sanctioned Winternationals. Drawing a stout field of 52 cars for the three-day event, Knowles followed up the tenth fastest lap in his time trial group with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his B-Main. Starting the $2,500-to-win A-Main in 20th, Jake advanced through the field 11 spots to record a 9th place finish.
After losing Friday night’s event to Mother Nature, Knowles came in third fastest in his group on Saturday before placing 4th in his heat. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Jake was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 13. He was credited with a 24th place outing.
