
On Saturday night Jake Knowles followed the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the Salute to the Armed Forces Nationals. In a field of 29 cars, Knowles locked his spot into the opening feature with a heat race victory. Starting in 8th, Jake passed three cars in the 50-lapper to place 5th behind Ashton Winger, Casey Haney, Evan Ellis, and Randy Boyd.
The following night at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), Jake laid down the second fastest lap in his group behind Austin Franklin positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the finale. With $2,000 on the line, Knowles jumped up one spot notching a runner-up finish behind Wil Herrington with Oakley Johns, Justin McRee, and Spencer Hughes rounding out the Top-5.
