September 30, 2018 - Jake Knowles Crowned King at North Alabama Speedway

With Mother Nature shifting the event back a day, Jake Knowles was one of 32 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series entries signed in at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) on Saturday night for the King of the Crate 60. After laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Justin McRee, Knowles captured a 10-lap heat race victory locking him into the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main on Sunday. Using a late-race restart to his advantage, Jake overtook Cory Hedgecock for the lead on lap-42 and held the top spot for the remaining 18 circuits to capture his seventh win of the season and a $5,000 payday. Hedgecock, Eric Hickerson, Ashton Winger, and Seth McCormack completed the Top-5 finishers in the 60-lap affair.

September 22, 2018 - Knowles Attends Cotton Pickin' 100 at the Mag; Postponed to Later Date
On Friday evening Jake Knowles made the 5-hour trek to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, Knowles captured a 12-lap consolation victory locking his spot into the A-Main on Saturday night. After completing 13 circuits, Mother Nature rolled in and postponed the remaining 37 laps to a later date.

September 2, 2018 - Jake Knowles Records a Pair of 2nd Place Finishes; 3rd Place Finish at Dixie Speedway
Friday night saw Jake Knowles in action at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) kicking off the Labor Day Weekend with the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series. In a field of 22 cars, Knowles laid down the second fastest time in qualifying locking him into the 2nd-starting position for the opening night feature. Holding his spot for all 50-laps, Jake posted a 2nd place finish behind Michael Page with Ronnie Johnson, Chase King, and Zach Pilcher rounding out the Top-5 finishers.

The following night at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia), Knowles secured his spot into the main event with the fifth fastest time in qualifying. With $2,000 on the line, Jake improved two positions to place 3rd behind Michael Page and Ronnie Johnson with Chase King and Zach Pilcher trailing the across the line.
