June 30, 2018 - Knowles Lands Top 5 Finish With Durrence Layne Series at Boyd's |
On Friday evening Jake Knowles traveled to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) kicking off the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series sanctioned Salute to America Nationals. In a field of 34 Crate Late Models, Jake recorded the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 7 into the opening night feature, Knowles scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 13th on the starting grid. With $2,500 on the line, Jake Knowles improved eight spots in the 50-lapper to place 5th behind Cruz Skinner, Ronnie Johnson, Cory Hedgecock, and Will Roland.

June 23, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in Local Show at Dixie Speedway |
Hopping behind the wheel of the Buster Gross-owned #24 Super Late Model, Jake Knowles invaded Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Following the third fastest time overall in qualifying, Knowles jumped up one spot in the feature to place 2nd behind Ray Cook with Justin Shipley, Matt Bishop, and Mike Tinker completing the Top-5 finishers.

June 16, 2018 - Knowles Sweeps Big Daddy 500 at Smoky Mountain Speedway |
Jake Knowles was one of 17 Crate Late Models on hand at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned Big Daddy 500. Laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Knowles earned the pole position for the main event. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Jake led every lap en route to his fourth win of the season and a $3,000 paycheck. Joseph Brown, Chip Brindle, Ronnie Johnson, and Zach Pilcher completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.

June 8, 2018 - Jake Knowles Wins Opening Night of Rumble on Gumbo; Third Straight Victory |
Friday night found Jake Knowles in action at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) kicking off the two-day Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series sanctioned weekend. With 30 Crate Late Models on hand for the Rumble on the Gumbo, Knowles secured his spot into the opening night feature with the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Cory Hedgecock. Rolling off 4th, Jake slipped past race-leader Ashton Winger on the final lap to pick up his third win of the season and a $2,000 payday. Winger, Cory Hedgecock, Ashley Newman, and Oakley Johns completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.
 On Saturday night for the $2,500 top prize, Knowles locked his spot into the finale with the fastest time overall in qualifying. Jumping out to an early lead, Jake held the top spot for the first five laps until contact with the cushion folded his nose under. He eventually retired early from the 40-lapper and was credited a 23rd place outing.
