Jake Knowles returned with the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series on Saturday night at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the $3,000 top prize. In a field of 18 cars, Knowles registered the eighth fastest time overall in qualifying earning him the 8th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Jake passed three cars in the 50-lapper to place 5th behind Travis Pennington, Ronnie Johnson, Clay Harris, and Zach Pilcher.

On Saturday night Jake Knowles returned to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the inagural Governor's Cup. With a stout field of 45 Southern All Star Series entries on hand, Jake timed in second fastest in his group before charging to a heat race victory. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Jake Knowles improved two spots in the 60-lap affair scoring a 2nd place finish behind Michael Page with Jason Hiett, William Thomas, and Riley Hickman completing the Top-5 finishers.
