May 28, 2017 - Knowles Follows Spring National Series Over Memorial Day Weekend
On Friday night Jake Knowles kicked off the busy Memorial Day Weekend at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) for the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned program. Following the twelfth fastest time in his qualifying group, Knowles improved one position in his heat race to place 4th. Earning the 18th-starting spot for the opening night A-Main, Jake ran into trouble on tenth lap forcing him to pull pitside. He was credited with a 22nd place outing.

The following night in a stout field of 41 Super Late Models at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia), Knowles timed in eighth fastest in his group before registering a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 16th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Jake improved four positions in the 50-lapper recording a 12th place finish.

Competing in Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals season finale on Sunday, Jake was one of 21 cars registered in for action at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the $6,000 top prize. Following a 6th place finish in his heat race, Knowles was an early retiree from the feature while running in 19th.

May 13, 2017 - Top 10 Finish at Dixie Speedway on Satuday Night
Jake Knowles returned to action on Saturday at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the regular night of racing. Timing in seventh fastest overall in qualifying, Knowles earned the 7th-starting position for the feature. Dropping back one spot, Jake registered a 8th place outing.

May 6, 2017 - Battery Issues End Knowles Night at Rome Speedway
With the weather washing out the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned contest at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday, Jake Knowles headed to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on Sunday to a field of 27 ULTIMATE Super Late Models. After taking part in a successful hot-lap session, Knowles experienced issues with his battery in qualifying dropping him back to the eighth fastest time in his group. Rolling off 3rd for his B-Main, Jake ran into more issues with his battery in his consolation event forcing him to pull in and call it a night.
